Projects

These are some projects that I have completed so far. As of now, most of them were done under the module CS3240 Interaction Design.

Edurec Redesign

UI Designer

Done under CS3240, this assignment's goal was to get us to be familiar with the technologies used in UI/UX Design.

​

I chose the UI to redesign, employed critical thinking to identify flaws of the existing design, and creativity to implement changes.

​

We used Balsamiq for wireframing, Figma to produce high-fidelity prototypes, as well as HTML/CSS for the actual implementation.

Personal Photography Website

UI Designer

To get familiar with Adobe XD, I made a simple high-fidelity mockup of a potential design for my personal photography website.

​

Whilst the design is rather simple, I believe that ultimately the most important aspect of a portfolio website is to showcase your works. Hence the minimalistic design and ease of navigation.

S.T.E.P.S

Researcher, UI/UX Designer, Project Leader

Done under CS3240 Interaction Design, this was a project done by my groupmates and me. The goal was to familiarize with the development process of an interaction design project from start to finish.

​

In this project, we started with ideation and research, before conducting semi-structured interviews and surveys for proof of concept. We then created wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes before settling on my design. We then underwent evaluation testing, before making iterations to the design in response to the results gathered.

Indiana Blu

Programmer, Game Designer

Completed under the module NM3216 Game Design. The goal of this project was to create a game in a group simulated to be like a development team. The game was made in GameMakerStudio2.

​

In this project, I served as the sole programmer for the game, as well as one of the game designers for mechanics. Each week we conducted playtests with classmates during tutorials, and made minor iterations to mechanics and quantitative values to improve the game. This was in addition to the iterations of game design implemented each week (progressive level design, UI, game feel, etc.).

​

As a result of our efforts, Indiana Blu was shortlisted as one of three games to be featured on NUS Arts Festival 2021.
